The curious collection of a slightly mad scientist
The incident occurred on the night of Friday, December 12 near Carmel, OH. According to her testimony provided in a report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the wife describes, “On Friday night (the 12th), we were driving home. After turning on Carmel Road, which leads to our road, we went around the curve by the Carmel church and then up a small incline and approximately 10 feet over the incline and in front of our truck, the ‘alien’ ran across the road and into the woods.”
This unexpected and unidentifiable creature left the witnesses perplexed. The wife further describes:
My husband saw it. He is a skeptic – almost 60 years old – and a proud Marine. He wouldn’t have admitted to seeing it if he hadn’t been in shock. I had him draw it for me when we got to the house. He says it was asphalt gray (our asphalt is gray) and about 7 feet tall, no arms that he could see, but muscular in the legs area; no jawline, and its legs were bent backward and it leaned forward as it ran.
Although the filed report doesn’t explicitly say it, the witnesses allude to their supposition that the bizarre creature they witnessed may be extraterrestrial in origin. The wife seemingly suggests that their property has been the site of UFO activity. She describes, “We recently bought a place in the Fort Hill area (in southeast Highland County). We first noticed after about 30 days of living here that we suddenly have a perfect circle that stays fresh green, no matter what weather, in our front yard.”
Ron McGlone, a MUFON investigator, provided the sighting information to local media outlet The Highland County Press. He states, “I would like to get this information out in your area in hopes that maybe someone else has seen it – or that their giant cross-bred ostrich got loose – or something!”
This sketch reminds me of previous reports of stick thin aliens in years past.
First thought is some kind of experimental remote controlled rover.
The reports from openmindstv always annoy me. Most likely pure fiction is how I read them. They need some real reporters. Why were the witnesses names withheld? What time of night? Lighting conditions? What’s in those woods? How far was the witness from the object sighted? How fast was it moving? Was it featureless? How many seconds was it seen? I could go on and on.
There is a Ron McGlone associated with MUFON in Ohio. There is no Carmel, OH. There is a Mount Carmel, Ohio. There is a Mt Carmel Christian Church on Mt Carmel Tobasco Road, but that is in Cincinnatti, OH, officially.
I guess there is some “forest” around, but there are houses everywhere if you look at the arial view. Try google street maps. I can’t see a place on that road that fits the description.
