Coined by ufologist John Keel in the 1970s (in his Operation Trojan Horse) to explain the mystery airships, and the Mothman, among other things, ultraterrestrials are like extraterrestrials: a much more technologically and scientifically advanced civilization than ours. Unlike extraterrestrials, however, the ultraterrestrials come not from space but from our own Earth. They have been living among us since the dawn of time and may be a different branch of biological evolution that, for some reason, evolved much faster than others. – CW, TT
“People who support the Ultraterrestrial theory, such as authors Jacques Vallee and John Keel, point out that supernatural beings seemingly superior to humans have been reported throughout history.” – UM
“A superior, non-human entity of natural or supernatural origin that is indigenous to planet Earth.” – UD
“As an example of the ultraterrestrials, Imbrogno shared the story of famed explorer Henry Hudson’s encounter with little gnome-like entities in 1609. While exploring the river that would eventually bear his name, Hudson was warned by Native Americans to avoid the “little men” in the nearby mountains. One night during the expedition, he heard music and saw flashes of light coming from a mountain top. Deciding to investigate, Hudson and his men climbed the mountain and discovered a party of gnomes that were dancing around the fire and playing games. Welcomed by the little people, Hudson was told that they were from “somewhere else” and that they come into our world every twenty years. Though this may seem like simple folklore, Imbrogno observed that similar stories of celebratory gnomes in the region seem to resurface every twenty years and there were even reports as recently as 2009.” – CC
I heard a story of some flat headed gnomes walking in a straight line up at Mt. Shasta. The Ultraterrestrials are also known as Ulterrans. I’ve long doubted that other dimensions exist other than at subatomic scales, but some believe that Ulterrans are beings from other dimensions.
This multi-dimensional reality may explain various phenomena such as animals, objects, people and entire vessels which have seemingly fallen into or out of our ‘world’. It may also be possible that certain objects in our ‘world’ would be invisible in the ‘other’ realm or dimension (or rather the opposite polarity of our reality!?) and visa versa. For instance, one airplane pilot who had become temporarily caught up in an EM-vortex in the ‘Bermuda Triangle’ SAW an island which was DESERTED, while the very same island was inhabited in the world he was familiar with. This would also explain the many accounts of people who claim to have seen or stopped at houses, cafes, hotels or other sites along remote stretches of road, only to return the same way and find that no such place ‘exists’. – WS
Was the mothman an ultraterrestrial? Those people in Point Pleasant, West Virginia saw something. I’m not saying it was an alien, but it wasn’t a giant moth either.
