Working on a song about a time traveler’s convention, I found a strange claim that Obama was once teleported to Mars. Is there an odd truth in this high strangeness?
Seattle attorney Andrew Basiago says that when he was a child, he and William Stillings were “chrononauts” in a secret United States government time travel program called Project Pegasus. The purpose of the program was threefold—to protect Earth from threats from space, to establish territorial sovereignty over Mars, and to acclimate Martian humanoids and animals to our presence.
The best part of Basiago’s and Stillings’ claim, however, is that one of their fellow time travelers was none other than a 19-year-old Barack Obama, who went by the name “Barry Soetero.” In 1980, the three men and seven other youths from their “Mars training class” at California’s College of the Siskiyous (a real institution) traveled to Mars via a top-secret teleportation “jump room” modeled on technical papers found in Nikola Tesla’s apartment after his death. They jumped through a field of radiant energy into a tunnel, and when the tunnel closed, found themselves at their destination.
The White House has officially denied that Obama ever went to Mars.
Forget Kenya. Never mind the secret madrassas. The sinister, shocking truth about Barack Obama’s past lies not in east Africa, but in outer space. As a young man in the early 1980s, Obama was part of a secret CIA project to explore Mars. The future president teleported there, along with the future head of Darpa.
That’s the assertion, at least, of a pair of self-proclaimed time-traveling, universe-exploring government agents. Andrew D. Basiago and William Stillings insist that they once served as “chrononauts” at Darpa’s behest, traversing the boundaries of time and space. They swear: A youthful Barack Obama was one of them.
Perhaps this all sounds fantastical, absurd, and more than a little nuts. We couldn’t agree more. That’s one of the reasons we love conspiracy theories — the more awesomely insane, the better. Each week during 2012, when the Mayans tell us to expect the apocalypse, Danger Room will peel back a new layer of crazy to expose those oh-so-cleverly hidden machinations powering this doomed plane of existence. Welcome — back — to Tinfoil Tuesday.
According to Basiago and Stillings, Obama isn’t just lying about his identity. He’s lying about his military service record, too. While his political opponents in 2008 attacked him for never serving, in truth, he was concealing his participation in a hidden CIA intergalactic program hosted at a California community college in 1980.
Officially, the White House says Obama never went to Mars. “Only if you count watching Marvin the Martian,” Tommy Vietor, the spokesman for the National Security Council, tells Danger Room.
Conspiracy theories flock to Barack Obama like moths to a lightsaber. He forged his birth certificate; he was born in Kenya; he’s a Muslim; he’s both a fascist and a communist bent on destroying the U.S. from within; he has 39 different social-security numbers; he’s a British citizen. He is, in short, the subject of the most easily dismissed kind of scrutiny. But it’s worth not overlooking (underlooking?) the craziest theory of them all: The CIA teleported teenage Barack Obama to Mars. …
The chrononauts made it to the red planet through a “jump room” that instantly transported them to the Martian surface, where the U.S. had already established secret government bases. Stillings and Basiago say they met Obama there on two different occasions — including one time when Basiago and Obama went through the jump room together.
Did I mention that Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, was there too? She was already an experienced CIA agent who had previously carried out assignments in Kenya and Indonesia.
Asiago and Stillings say the purpose of the Mars program was to establish “a defense regime protecting the Earth from threats from space,” with the U.S. asserting territorial sovereignty over the planet.
Mr. Basiago continues, “’Barry Soetoro,’ a student at Occidental College, was in my Mars training class under Major Ed Dames at The College of the Siskiyous in Weed, CA in 1980. That fact has been corroborated by one of my other classmates, Brett Stillings. Two years later, when he was taller, thinner, more mature, a better listener, using the name ‘Barack Obama,’ and attending a different college, Columbia University, we crossed paths again in Los Angeles and I didn’t recognize him as the person that I had been trained with in the Mars program and crossed paths with on the surface of Mars.
Mr. Basiago’s and Mr. Stillings’ whistleblower eyewitness evidence as to the existence of a U.S. secret Mars teleportation program and facilities on Mars is congruent with the direct testimony of three other Mars whistleblower witnesses.
(1) Former U.S. serviceman Michael Relfe, who spent 20 years as a member of the permanent security staff of a U.S. facility on Mars;
(2) Former DOD scientist Arthur Neumann, who has testified publicly that he teleported to the U.S. facility on Mars for DOD project meetings; and
(3) Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who in 2007 refused a covert attempt to recruit her into a secret U.S. colony on Mars.
… Stillings made a statement in August 2011 that said: “I can confirm that Andrew D. Basiago and Barack Obama (then using the name “Barry Soetoro”) were in my Mars training course in Summer 1980 and that during the time period 1981 to 1983, I encountered Andy, Courtney M. Hunt of the CIA, and other Americans on the surface of Mars after reaching Mars via the “jump room” in El Segundo, California.”
Now Wired magazine reports that the White House has been forced – albeit with tongue firmly in cheek – to deny that Obama ever made the 200m mile trip.
So has Obama been to Mars? “Only if you count watching Marvin the Martian,” Tommy Vietor, the spokesman for the National Security Council, told Wired.
Here’s my guess, which allows people revealing these things to be sort of correct: Obama was in some training and was at the jump room as claimed. He was jumped to Mars, but it was a Mars simulation. Perhaps he did not know at the time that they were still on Earth. This could have been done as a psychological experiment with convincing actors, some types of technology and a movie set to create a convincing illusion. I can imagine various practical reasons for doing this. Really, can you imagine our government not having a Mars set somewhere for various types of testing? After all, there have been many movies set on Mars.
I have no inside information on this and I did not research it or the individuals making these claims, so if I turn out to be right, it will be news to me.
