Here’s the strangest thing I saw today: a giant fully functional skateboard.
Aug. 31 (UPI) — A Los Angeles man’s massive skateboard, measuring 35 feet, 7 inches long, has been certified by Guinness World Records as the largest in the world.
The largest skateboard measured 11.14 m (36 ft 7 in) long, 2.63 m (8 ft 8 in) wide and 1.10 m (3 ft 7.5 in) high. It was designed and produced by Rob Dyrdek and Joe Ciaglia (both USA) in Los Angeles, California, USA and unveiled on 25 February 2009 on the MTV series ‘Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory’.Feb 25, 2009
The Los Angeles-based board was originally created in 2009 for the MTV series Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and measures 11.15 m (35 ft 7 in) long by 2.64 m (8 ft 8 in) wide and 1.10 m (3 ft 7.5 in) tall.
