20,000 Petition to Save Flintstone House

An usual house in California is at the center of a zoning controversy. A Flintstones cartoon themed house has been called an eyesore by neighbors, but tens of thousands think it should be allowed to stay.

Nearly 20,000 people have signed an online petition in a bid to save a “Flintstone” home at the centre of a planning row.

The house, an architectural homage to 1960s cartoon The Flintstones, has been a landmark in Hillsborough, California, since it was built in 1976.

My vote would be to have miss Fang, the owner of the house, take up a collection to get the needed building permits, bring it all up to code, and then tell the neighbors they must make their houses into amusement parks as well, so they all fit in. You must fit in šŸ˜‰ … but then I don’t have to live next to the Flintstones house with people stopping all the time. I see both sides.
