One of the best places to visit in the whole wide world is Ireland. It’s essentially two parts of one whole. In the south is the larger Republic, one of the newest countries in the world at about one hundred years old. This independence was gained from the British Empire at a high cost. However, it’s not the clothes that tend to draw people to this green island or the Emerald Isle, as its famous nickname suggests. It is a very rural place with plenty to see and explore. It has mountains like Mourne in the North and the fabulous Ring of Kerry in the South. It’s the home of one of the most ic, unusual rock formations in the world.

The Giant’s Causeway, on the North of the Island, is a strange mix of hexagonal basalt lava columns. Nature generally does not have straight lines, but at the Causeway, it comes pretty close.
