Ever since she created him, she’s been able to communicate with him through her dolls. She gradually starts to fall in love with him and begins to believe that he is really alive. One day, she decides to take her dolls out for a walk and leaves them unattended in a park. When she returns, she finds out that Yamato has vanished without a trace.
She spends months searching for him, but she never finds any clues as to where he might be. one day, she comes across an article about a missing person who matches Yamato’s description. She realizes that it could be her Yamato whom she has been looking for. It was as if Yamato was waiting for her to find his whereabouts. As she continues to seek Yamato, she meets him one day in a cafe.
The Story: Mermaid’s tears filled the ocean
Once upon a time, there was a mermaid who had the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen. She loved to sing and dance in the ocean and her voice was so sweet that even the fishes would swim up to listen. One day, a human prince fell in love with her voice and tracked her down to find out where she lived. When he found her, she asked him to come back later because she had to leave for an important meeting with her friends.
The prince waited for her but she never came back. Worried, he went looking for her and found out that she had drowned while swimming to meet him. In her death, she left behind a single tear that continued flowing into the ocean until it became a vast sea of tears.
The Characters: Sono and her mother
Sono is a young girl who has a special talent. She can make dolls come to life. Her mother is often away working, so Sono spends most of her time making dolls. One day, Sono’s mother comes home early and finds Sono with her dolls. She is surprised to see that one of the dolls has come to life. Sono’s mother asks Sono what she was doing to make the doll come to life, and Sono tells her that she used her special talent. Her mother is amazed and asks Sono if she can do it again. Sono tries, but the doll doesn’t come to life the second time. Her mother is disappointed, but she still loves her daughter no matter what.
A few weeks later, Sono’s mother leaves for work again and this time she takes the doll with her. While she is gone, a boy named Kaito comes by and sees the doll. He is amazed and wants to take it away from Sono, but Sono’s mother comes home early and sees what happened. She is angry at Kaito for taking away her daughter’s toy, but she still loves her daughter no matter what.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru- An Example of “A Tale That Should Be a Fairytale” is a manga and song series written and illustrated by Izumi Tsubaki. The story follows the misadventures of a porcelain doll, Sono Bisque, who is cursed to be reborn as a human each time she is destroyed. In order to break the curse and return to her previous form, Sono must find seven magical beans that will restore her life energy.
The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2016, and the seventh compiled volume was released on March 16th, 2018. The anime adaptation is directed by Tomoyuki Itamura and produced by A-1 Pictures. The first episode aired on October 5th, 2018. And sono bisque doll wa koi wo suru season 2 was released in January.
