What Are the Muscles in Our Shoulder?
The human shoulder joint (or rotator cuff) is a very complicated joint and it is composed of many different muscles and tendons. In fact, you can injure the rotator cuff without even knowing it. Everyday activities can cause your muscles to tighten and tear off the shoulder capsule. This is why it is so important to always keep proper form when exercising and not strain your muscles. It is also one of the reasons why you should ensure that you regularly stretch when sitting at a desk for long periods of time and make sure that you are sitting in a proper Operator Chair like the ones from Bestbuy Office Chairs
The shoulder capsule is made up of three compartments which include the acromioclavicular joint, the supraspinatus, and the subscapularis. It is when these three muscles get tense that the rotator cuff becomes injured. Other reasons that a person can injure their shoulder capsule include direct impact to the area, extending the muscles beyond their limits, and/or placing unnatural pressure on the muscles. Some other injuries include dislocations, strain, subluxations, and injuries caused by sports equipment. Each of these causes can cause serious injuries that will take a significant amount of time and money to remedy.
When it comes to exercising this area you should make sure that you are properly warmed up and that you do not lift weights that are too heavy for you and that you stretch out your shoulders and arms when sitting in one position for a long period of time.
